High School of Fine Arts Gabrijel Jurkić in Mostar is a four-year vocational school founded in 1995. Although it is an art school, the curriculum enables students who graduate from this school to enroll in any faculty in Bosnia and Herzegovina or Croatia.
At the moment, the school offers enrollment in five different courses:
Teaching takes place in such a way that general education subjects are at class level, while practical and professional teaching is divided into groups according to majors.
By attending our school, students acquire practical and theoretical knowledge of traditional and contemporary art techniques, they are trained in the design and manufacture of useful objects and functional and visual aesthetic design.
Our school is of regional importance and is attended not only by students from Mostar, but also by students from a large part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Apart from Mostar, students from Čapljina, Čitluk, Široki Brijeg, Ljubuški, Grude, Posušje, Jablanica, Prozor, Bugojno, Jajce, Konjic, Uskoplje also attended this school, and there were students from Croatia as well.
